You may have come across the term Social Entrepreneur before, but if not, you might like to check out the Wikipedia article on Social Entrepreneurship. Basically, a social entrepreneur is someone who uses their entrepreneurial skills to address a social problem they have identified. A business entrepreneur will measure the success of their venture by the size of the bank account at the end, and although this is desirable for  a social entrepreneur, the real  success of a social entrepreneuring project is demonstrated by how well the problem was addressed.
